What types of hair extensions are available?

Tape-In Extensions: Lightweight wefts that are taped to your natural hair. They lie flat, are reusable, and usually need reapplication every 6–8 weeks.

Keratin Bond (Fusion) Extensions: Small keratin tips are fused to your hair with heat. Long-lasting (3–5 months), but not reusable.

I-Tip (Beaded) Extensions: Hair strands attached with a small bead—no heat or glue. They can be moved up as your hair grows and are reusable. Maintenance appointments are normally between 8-10 weeks.

Sew-In / Weft Extensions: Wefts are sewn into a braid or attached with beads. These are great for thick, coarse hair and are also reusable. Maintenance appointments are typically scheduled every 8 to 10 weeks, depending on the hair extension method selected and your individual hair growth. Regular maintenance is essential to ensure the longevity of your luxury hair extensions while maintaining the health and integrity of your natural hair.

Are hair extensions safe for my natural hair?

Proper Installation: Extensions need to be applied by a trained professional who understands placement, tension, and blending during a hair extension consultation.

Regular Maintenance: Skipping move-up appointments or wearing them too long can cause matting and breakage.

Gentle Care: Using extension-safe products and proper brushing techniques ensures your natural hair stays healthy.

How long do hair extensions last?

When cared for properly at home, keratin & invisible cold extensions should last 3-5 months with salon maintenance! Beaded extensions can be moved up every 3-4 months. Keratin extensions are not moved up, and the hair is not reused. Tape-ins last 4-8 weeks until maintenance is required and can last up to 1 year.

Can I color or heat style my hair extensions?

We recommend leaving the hair color services to the experts! Because our virgin cuticle wefts are very high-quality, we would hate to see you jeopardize that. Our salon carries the safest coloring products to ensure custom color services do not impact the quality of the hair. As for heat styling, absolutely! We recommend using a heat protector for your hair, but other than that feel free to style your hair as you would your natural hair!

How do I take care of my extensions?

To maintain your hair extensions effectively, follow these guidelines:

Wash extensions gently with sulfate-free shampoo to avoid damage.

Use a wide-tooth comb to detangle, starting from the ends and working up.

Limit heat styling; use a heat protectant when necessary.

Store extensions in a cool, dry place, preferably in a protective case.

Avoid sleeping with wet extensions to prevent tangling and damage.
